RM Auctions unravels its line up for the annual "Ferrari Leggenda E Passione" and what a line up it is, an exclusive auction of the world's finest Ferraris at the factory in Maranello. RM has a strong sales record at this annual event and this year's event held in association with Sotheby's is set to top the last two.
This year the auction, which takes place on May 17th at the Ferrari Headquarters has lined up an abundance of big guns, even if many people are tightening their ways we know from recent sales, that collectors are still willing to spend on the right cars and RM has some very serious cars.

The prize, one of the most exciting motor cars ever to be presented in auction history must be the 1957 250 Testa Rossa, Chassis 0714 was the second customer Testa Rossa built. In December 1957 Chassis 0714 was delivered to racing driver and future coachbuilder Piero Drogo in Modena. Privateer Drogo Debuted CH0714 at Buenos Aires 1000KM in January 1958 and finishing fourth this was just the start for 0714TR. Top line Ferrari,s continue to have significant buyer and investment appeal butbwhat makes 0714TR So special is its fascinating history the estimate of £6.7M TO £7.7M Which could make this one of the most valuable Ferrari racing cars ever sold at auction.
Other competition cars in the sale include the 1964 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso this super car driven by Charles muller and heini finished fifth in class in the 1964 Tour de France and is just one of 15 short nose Competizione Clienti cars produced by the factory estimate £750,000 to £1,000,000.
